Network

Network is the final section of the Scouting movement - a support system and social group mainly for Adult Volunteers aged between 18 and 25. Network is a continuation of your scouting journey it enables you to take part in all the usual Scouting activities without the responsibility of being an Adult Volunteer.

North Lincolnshire District have recently shaped a new Network Unit in 2025 and provides a space for 18 to 25 to run a programme of activities themselves, meaning you can do whatever you fancy! As long as you can organise it, you can do it! Have adventures, develop new skills, give something back to the community, and shape Scouting in a way that fits around busy lives. There’s no weekly meeting commitment unless you want there to be – instead, Network is flexible, social, and led by its members.

Members of Network can continue or start top awards including the King's Scout, Chief Scout's Platinum and Diamond and Duke of Edinburgh Scheme. Network is also a great space to travel the world with friends!

Membership details

• One-off joining fee: £10 This includes your Scout Network necker and Network badge.
• Pay as you play
• There’s no regular subscription – you only pay for the activities and events you choose to take part in.

Top Awards

• Being part of Network supports you in working towards Top Awards, including the King’s Scout Award and Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards. We can offer guidance, opportunities, and support along the way.
• County-wide opportunities
• Membership allows you to take part in any Scout Network event across the county, giving you access to even more activities, adventures, and connections.
