What to expect...

This will be an action packed weekend, with activities such as climbing, abseiling, archery and zip lines, plus water sports for the Scouts (not Cubs). Then on top of that is the evening entertainment too! There are plenty of opportunities for young people to work towards achieving their badges, as well as meet other uniformed groups and make memories that will last a lifetime!

What is the plan for the weekend?

Friday 19th September - Sunday 21st September 2025.

Friday: Arrive from 5.30pm - evening meal - evening entertainment 

Saturday: Breakfast - 2x morning activities - lunch - 2x afternoon activities - evening meal - evening entertainment 

Sunday: Breakfast - 2x morning activities - lunch - departure approx. 1.30pm 

 

Cost & Booking

The price for young people is £78 per Cub Scout, and £96 per Scout. The reason there is a price difference, is we are adding water sports to just the Scouts, this is so the older section have something a bit different to the Cubs, and the younger ones have something to look forward to when they're older. 

The cost covers all activities, food and accommodation, however, transport is not provided. The centre is close to Doncaster, and is around a 45 minute drive from Scunthorpe.

An initial non-refundable deposit of £30per person is required

To book your cub pack and scout troop onto this event, please follow this Link

An initial non-refundable deposit of £30per person needs to be paid to the district by Friday 11th April 2025 to confirm their place, please ensure you have set a date for your young people to send in their deposit before this to give yourselves time to send a single deposit payment for your group to the district. 

Once deposits are paid, the remaining monies need to be paid to the district by Friday 4th July 2025

1 adult free per 8 young people, any extra adults will be £54 each

You do not need a leader in charge, but you're welcome to pay for additional leaders if you wish!

Leaders attending from your section will be responsible for the young people, their medical information, emergency contact details and ensuring medication is taken as necessary.
