Mardi Gras Celebration & Pancake Competition

What to expect...

We will provide basic pancake ingredients, you provide the rest! Get practicing and make the most amazing sweet or savoury pancakes individually or as a team. You can cook them any way you like, altar fire, camp fire, BBQ, penny stove... it's totally up to you!
Bake off style judging will take place and prizes will be awarded for the top 3 creations (this may even count towards your chef badge at your leaders discretion).
After the judging, craft time! Make traditional Mardi Gras bead necklaces, and dance yourself into the carnival spirit with some fabulous music.

When the event is over, you'll take away a fantastic Pawprint badge!

This event costs £3.50 per young person.

What to bring...

We will provide the basic pancake ingredients, but you will need to bring whatever toppings you would like to use

Masks are a must so make your own at home and bring it with you. You can use glitter, sequins and feathers, or get one there. There'll be a prize for the best homemade mask too! Traditional colours of green gold and purple are encouraged
