Chillout Camp

What to expect...

Explorers in the district have been invited to a Chillout Camp! This will take place from Saturday 28th June at 11:30 to Sunday 29th June at 18:30. 
Celebrate the end of exams with a relaxing opt-in camp. Pitch your tents/hammocks and settle in for a weekend of whatever you fancy. Archery, Tomahawks, Go-Karts, Pioneering? all good, rather play frisbee golf, football or rounders? totally fine. Want to stay in your tent and listen to music, colour or read? That's fine too! 
We'll provide all the snacks for campfire munchies including a massive stash of biscuits to experiment with for s'mores, popcorn, hotdogs, ingredients for MYO pizza, a full English breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
You bring a tent or hammock and sleeping bag, lunch for Saturday and your usual overnight kit, pot bag and water bottle. You may also bring any books, games or activities you would like to do during the weekend. Explorers will be cooking their own food during this weekend so may wish to bring a trangia.

Info for leaders...

Please note that leaders don't need to accompany their young people on this camp as long as the form is fully filled in with emergency contact details, although you are of course welcome to join us! If leaders would like to come along, we're asking for a small payment of £5 to cover food costs.
